Larus californicus,albertensis is also called the "prairie gull."

My cousin in Billings is an ornithophagist at UMont and he says that
he's seen a dozen species *migrating thorough* on their way to breed
in the arctic, but passage migrants, accidentals, and okies don't
count as MT resident species.
