News doesn't go instantly. I posted it about 9:18 but the fetchnews appears
not to've kicked in until 9:32. I triggered it manually then. If I'd
left it to do it on its own, the post might not've appeared until 10.
(really should check my cron settings sometime but as I usually trigger the
fetchnews manually once I've finished posting, there's no real need...)

System clock's fine here. People really need to realise usenet isn't
instant.

In America you'd get a resounding "huh"? "Near side" and "off side" aren't
terms used here to describe either side of a vehicle. We use "left" and
"right", from the perspective of the driver or rider. As anyone with any
sense whatsoever would.
