Had I waited I could have saved $50k. But that has zip to do with my neighbors. OTOH I got the $$ from a house I'd paid $50K for and sold for $200K so I think I'm still ahead cuz I still have a quite comfortable home with nice neighbors. If any are hurting property values it's the white kids on the corner who arrived after I did - several different families moving in & out, yard poorly maintained, excess/older cars parked on the street. Tsk!
