No, the battery's fine. I did drop the battery out for the continually
repeated attempts to start, however. Once the phuquing thing starts,
it's utterly perfecto; it's getting it to fire up that's the problem.

Check whether the choke works, inspect the spark plugs and air filter.

It appears from the service manual that there are 2 slots on the underside,
none under the keyboard.
