I would think the customs guards in this case could see you were a
racing team. I suspect they asked you where you were going and the
purpose of your trip into Canada. Given that it doesn't surprise me
they would give you an easy ride across the border. If I were intent
on smuggling a whole bike across the border, I am not sure I'd place
much faith in receiving similar treatment.

Nor would I make a generalization Customs trust you more than us. What
I am seeing is they exercised good judgement in your case, which is
pretty much what I would expect from them.

heh, good judgemnt from buerocrats is like kindness from cats. So rare
as to be note worthy...that being said. I the candians at the
sweetgrass port are an okay bunch and just following procedure. Whilst
the american attitude depends on what shift you meet adn how the day
was.
Del Bonita, the canadians are okay, the american (one guy) is/was a
prick last time I went through there.
Port of Piegan not sure of the Candaians as I've not gone north
through there before...the americans are pretty good people, doesn't
hurt I know most of them. 8^)

But I don't know nothing, I refuse to get a passport just to visit my
neighbors in Canada or Mexico. IF I chose to I could cross the border
without governmental knowledge or encumberance...I'd rather play nice.

You cannot infect me with your mental retardation over the internet,
