Neither if you've got any sense.

I'm thinking about those. I've got the non flex head version already
though.. wonder if I really need both.

Ah. That changes things (along with me not noticing that the bigger
sets aren't the Pro kit, and anyway, I've got loads of decent spanners
anyway). A visit to Halfrauds in Tun Wells this lunchtime is looming,
I think.

Agreed - very useful. However, I bought mine for 39.99 a while ago - no
offer, no "deal", just the standard selling price so saying that this is a
40 reduction is VERY misleading. I reckon its one of those classic "sell
it a twice the price for a few weeks in a few stores so we can call the
normal price half price" scams.

I have a set of Snap-On fixed head ratchet spanners that are now years
old and have served me well. I have a more recent set of Halfords Pro
flex-head ratchet spanners too - and I'll use the Halfords spanners
every time, in preference. They're more comfortable in the hand and due
to the flexy bit you can get on nuts more easily and rotate without
catching knuckles more easily. If the nut is tight on the thread, I'll
use the Snap-On lads, because the ratchet mech is much more substantial.

You need both.

The 'big' set of HPro ratchets come with really useful stuff too - a bit
driver that fits the 10mm spanner and a set of bits too: fear the
wedged-tight, less-than-accessible screw head no more. Well worth it.
