No - I was certain I had was not doing the speed they claimed in the NIP and my solicitor said it wouldn't hurt to apply for legal aid whilst requesting the video. As it turned out there were so many cases (not all bikes) claiming the evidence of the LT2020 was inaccurate that the folks who assess the eligibility of cases for legal aid agreed I could have it. I have a much more long-winded version of this I can post without much provocation. -- Mike H R1100RS

A fine publication sir if I may say so, and if I might add I work in N Ireland and in 24 years have never (thats as in never) had a complaint about mal treating anyone. I am entitled to my views as well, and they include a healthy contempt for a country run by 'two jags' and the other grinning idiot sending troops I worked with to die in some festering dump in the middle east with not enough kit--some of them had to beg off the yanks for christs sake! Now can we move on or am I just here as a whipping boy for cop haters----- at least I'm not afraid to stick my head out of the trench on some issues.

All is revealed, the magistrate granted that on a point of law not you personally, the home office was forced to stand over authorising the device. The lti was originally designed as a range finder for the space shuttle (docking manouvers) and on tanks. The software on the police version is different.

Again, and forgive my impertinence, you selectively answered the last paragraph, may I deduce that you also read the others, couldn't answer, so decided to go for the hip shot ?? |
