Yes, but it doesn't actually display the odo reading at the last owner
change, although lots of people have suggested it would be a good idea.
There's a space for the seller to fill in the last odo reading, but it
isn't compulsory. Go figure.

Reminds me of the bloke who bought a BMW with astronomic miles on it and
went to the scrappers for a set of clocks with a "few" less miles showing in
the (vain) hope that he'd be able to flog it on at a good profit.

He installed the clocks, switched on the ignition and the clocks wound
themselves to the original astronomic miles:-)

Of course, that was before the hacker boffins managed to defeat the ECU.

Nowadays, you can call some plonker on the phone and he'll come to you,
lappie in hand and in 5 minutes your odo reads what you want it to read.
