This must be the biggest driver for sales Simon Cowell could hope for. A lot
more of his single will be sold due to this, as mouthbreathers buy up
several copies in order to get their boy to number 1.

AOL

I note they're obviously keeping said youth crime wave which has
obviously kicked in by now, quiet in the press.

Speaking of which, I suspect if 'yoofs' actually did start to kick off
that bit more right about now, it would more likely to be to do with
'getting off your face that bit more than usual, cos its xmas innit
bruv' than listening to RATM.

I really doubt that people who like the X-Factor single enough to want
to own a copy are really emotionally invested enough in it to buy
extra copies in order to beat RATM to no 1.
