From: isquat on 28 Jan 2008 14:16 I can't afford to have the tank mended by a bodyshop yet, thus I want to remove the gas cap, undent the tank, put the cap back on, close it and and sand the tank on the outside and prime it to prevent rusting. Should I do it with the tank full or empty? Gas cap closed or open? Should I park it close to the building where people I don't like live in case anything happens? There is a Paki infested pigeon hole across the street, so...

My father spent over 2 years working in Saudia Arbia in the late 70s. He had nothing but disdain for the Saudis and respect for the Pakis. For every Saudi he had on the payroll, there was a Paki doing the work. I don't think much has changed in the years since. It is truely unfortunate to see Pakistan fall into such disarray in recent days/months/years. Good luck with the tank and the rest of the repairs on your bike. My Camero got stolen and I got it back. The car was never the same. It went from being just a run of the mill piece of junk to a piece of junk extrodinaire. I still miss that car. :)
