Nice. They are only 'made to order' rather than a production
motorcycle.? Not a bad bike for under 30k $NZ....Ohlins, carbon fibre
goodies, brembo....and it's air cooled. real 'old school'.

For me, it's got that classic look with modern handling and modest power
to boot. reliability as well, being modern metals?

Timeless bike.....

Because they might realise they will sell more outside the US?

Why aren't the US metric?

Style....it's not just a HD thing.

It's a modern take on a classic, like the 'Paul Smart' Ducati 'specials'
that came out a few years back.....only much better looking (in my opinion)

No, it's "Why *isn't* the US metric?"

And the answers are:

(A) It costs a huge chunk of change to convert a big, highly
industrialized nation like to US completely over to metric. (Sheep are
automatically metric, so NZ had no investment worth speaking of.)

(B) We're still officially on our original system, but metrics are
slowly taking over in many fields; and there's no doubt we'll get
there eventually. But we'll do it a millimeter at a time rather than
all at once.

And the next question is: "Why don't the NZ schools teach their kids
the difference between plural and singular?"

I think Sears is happy. I have two whole sets of sockets and wrenches,
English and Metric.

Followup question: Did you not notice that "States" is actually plural?

Well, tomorrow I'm going to go to the barber shop and get my hairs cut.
Gotta go, my spaghettis are done cooking.
