Neither of ourse do either. The VW does have space for one under the
boot floor, so I suppose I could carry one of the winter ones in the
summer and vice versa, but the thing is that these days modern tyres
on modern cars just don't get punctures.

Of course, I _know_ what'll happen on the way home now...

No, coz with no spare, the car ain't moving, but if you fit an illegal one,
then it would be able to be driven and you'd run the risk of getting 3
points and a fine.

I must tell Eytie Tony that the next time he repairs a puncture at his tyre
shop. That'll be today, tomorrow, the day after......
