I had call to use a can of that stuff to fix a slow puncture, that I
hadn't got around to taking to the tyre shop.

Forgot all about it until I was getting new tyres last week and the
fitter pointed out all the green slimey stuff on his machinery. Whoops.

BTW: do you also carry a small compressor? Otherwise, the can of gunk
will be useless.

My GT has both in a neat little carry case and a filler for the spare
wheel well, since they never supplied spares on the 3.2 V6

J's 206cc came with a double aerosol which is supposed to be enough to
reinflate and seal. My R36 has a can _and_ a compressor as standard.

ITYF it is. Certainly for cages anyway. One of my cages failed on a
dodgy (plastic) clamp

Likely, but perhaps a case finally reached the High Court and got
resolved in the defendant's favour. Which didn't help all the other poor
saps before who'd been done and fined.
