Yeah, and this is how they described the Tenere:

"Forget the GS; this is a properly appointed, proper capable device
for real
global adventures. Double decker tall.
Bike tip: surprisingly serious."

Shows what they know huh?

I do like that new beemer though...

The jury's in.

But really, as I've had occasion to point out in the past, if there were no
Clique, then UKRM would be the only gathering of people in the history of
the planet, where a small, (more or less) exclusive group had not formed
with the aim (explicit or otherwise) of discriminating against the
non-members.

Indeed, not only is there a Clique, but there _must_ inevitably be one.

My math might be wrong but surely the number of cliques in question is
finitely probably N^(N-1). Where N = the total number of (regular?)
posters to ukrm and you are only pissed because you are the -1 who isn't
in one.

And this is really the point. Anything new is viewed (rightfully) with
caution, so ABS and linked brakes weren't welcomed with open arms, but
they're gaining fans all the time. Is this because they work, or because
people can't be arsed turning them off or removing them altogether?

I have it in my mind that those who give these new fangled idea's a fair go,
tend not to have a closed mind, so they discover that maybe ABS isn't such a
bad thing after all. Same with linked brakes.

So what about traction control? Want it, or not?
