There was an evolution in Guzzi linked brakes, from a crude system with a
fixed repartition depending on different hose diameter to a more
sophisticated system that links the rear/front repartition to the
swingarm position.

I fond it rather pleasant on my 1000 Strada, you can brake in curves
without going straight to the ditch, and the bike stay level.
You just have to remember that the main brake is the foot one.

heh. I did exactly the same on Sweller's guzzi, compounded by the
fact that I never use the rear anyway.

TBF the engine braking almost makes the back brake redundant - once you've
hit it hard enough to change down...
