After getting a car license, just buy something suitable off CL, take the test, and re-sell it if it's not aligned with your long-term plans. I guess I spend too much time watching CL, I see tons of flippable bikes that would do, and would cost less than a day's rental to own for the test if you can strike a decent bargain and you're not picky about what you buy. In fact you might even make a small profit. In fact my cousin and his son are making a living of sorts doing exactly this, but I'd never make a dime since I have a compulsion to fix every fault, bar cosmetics, before selling a bike on.

You could hire a box truck with a tommy lift & transfer the contents of the container into the box truck at a more suitable location.
