When I was a wee lad, living on an Air Force base I used to go the store and look at the Harley Mags (was Easy Rider around that long ago?) and drooled over the chicks in the mag and the Super Glide. But alas, my price is limited, I can't seem to find a cheap one locally. And I keep coming across bargain basement Ducatis.... even a Moto Guzzi! http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=9960968&cat=144&lpid=

Well I haven't had the opportunity to take any long trips in about 35 years when I went Houston to Boston and points north back to back in 75, and 76. Then I did it on a CB450 and a Z1. I would have given my left one for a bagger but it wasn't in the budget. It was a gray color, had red lettering, I think, raised white letters on the tires and was the coolest thing in the world. -- 74 CB 450 - Stolen; 74 Z1 900 - Traded; 76 FX 1200 - Stolen; 78 FX(E) 86 CI - Daily rider nice weather; 02 FXDX 88 CI - Daily rider other weather

I'd consider checking this one out for you. If it is really something you like and in your price range, I could have it checked out, you could fly out, and ride it home! http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/1637117409.html Tim |
