Actually, it has been true for the Harley (touring commuting niche)
since I bought it in 2006, the S4Rs (lightweight roadster/day bike/
mountain twisties/commuter hooligan) soince my wife bought it for me
in 2007, and for the 1000SS trackbike since I bought it last year and
mixed-n-matched parts from the ex-Moto-ST racebikes to create the
lightest, most powerful, simplest trackbike I've ever had.

I haven't actually gone looking for a streetbike since 2006.

They're well known for sneaking up behind you at the dealerships
when you've let your guard down. Don't ask me how I know...

No slight intended to your stable, I think everyone would like
to find a set of bikes that delivers everything they want. But
the great thing about bikes is they don't care if you want to
get friendly with another bike, they're incapable of jealousy.

I had the Aprilia RSV-R, but that only felt good over 140kmh. I had the
KTM LC4 640 that was only good up to 140kmh.....I sold both and got the
KTM SuperMoto 950 and got the best of both bikes in one.

Yes, but maybe there is something better .... the nagging question that
drives us to buy more and more bikes. Luckily, I'm out of garage space ...
but ....

I don't have that nagging question anymore. The KTM is perfect for the
riding I do and the roads I ride on....but.....if something better comes
along, I will have a look. I'll build another garage if necessary. :)
