From: Sean_Q_ on 23 Jan 2010 21:29 My bike riding history has been rather chaotic due to uncertain and conflicting objectives. So I decided that thinking through my priorities would be a good idea. 1. Comfort 2. Reliability 3. Affordable 4. Performance x. 400-450 lbs dry 5. Retro style 6. Flashy appearance (lots of chrome) 1. Top priority is comfort. This doesn't necessarily mean riding a motorized Lay-Z-Boy... (although the concept has a certain attraction: http://www.uberreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/armchair-cruisers.jpg ....it means that the ergos are fundamentally correct so that my bod isn't stressed into an unnatural position just sitting on the thing (let alone riding it).
