I will, and I'd sooner do it there than in Switzerland, but I'd restrict
my journey to autobahns where possible as a means of getting across the
country to somewhere further east (where they probably still report you
to plod but you can bribe your way out of trouble at a more reasonable
rate)

I've considered Belgium and Holland in the past, the difficulty being
the distance from home in the time available. Plus the factor that,
while 200 miles in the rain is a PITA, 400 miles is worse.

As far as I'm concerned they're all the same once they've got you
nailed and all you can do is pay the fine then get out of the country.
