So basically when you said "I did this" and "I did that", this all took place in your imagination ? This is a very simple question. An honest person would preface the same advice with "I've read" or "people recommend", without putting on pretensions of expertise they don't possess. You feel like you've been gangbanged for not telling the truth, so be it. You got called on something you absolutely can't back up. Deal with it.
