Roach, You may not have "appreciated" the answer that Rayvan gave the OP (or more accurately, the crosspost), but Rayvan's been around a long time. He's a pretty good wrench truth be told, and at one of my first IRLs (SNDR 1999), he was very helpful to newbie-me when I was having stator problems. He's a long-time poster on HeD and the Sportster lists. He's nobody's fool. Get past the cross-post and you'd like the guy if you met him.
