Someone, Wrecked Ferret? used to turn up at OSM's on an FZR250-4 I seem to
recall? It struck me as a rather wonderful idea.

I think the domestic Japanese legislation that had spawned it was
changed, allowing Jap riders to ride bigger bikes more easily. TOG
might be able to give a more informed answer.

Olie Linsdell was still winning Manx GP races on his FZR400SP three
years ago, by a clear 13 minutes IIRC
