I've had a department approved PM9, with Tritium night sights & 6,7,8 capacity mags., for 5 years IMHO: Double stacked autos are fine duty weapons or for plinkers. But as concealed weapons; they suck unless you are wearing bulky clothes, a jacket, coat, or can wear an inside the trouser holster without the weapon poking your fat gut or love handles without mercy. For you fat asses who want a really concealable, reliable, firearm in 9mm or .40 cal., get a Kahr. For $209.00 they have a compact laser sight that mounts ahead of the trigger guard also. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kahr_Arms http://www.auto-ordnance.com/AO-4.html#09chicagoPD Crimson Trace Sight for Polymer Frame Kahr Pistols http://www.kahrshop.com/cgi-bin/itemdetail.asp?itmid=1985 ymmv Dean EKIII '06FLHR

I lean toward stump simple for daily carry, a Ruger LCR fills the bill there.

It's always fun to watch someone on the range bounce the little light dot all over the place, somehow thinking that it will magically allow them to hit their target. MrScottly#54

A .380 isn't what I would call a real defense round, more of a get up off of me round. But it can be fairly devestating in the right configuation. Check the site below.
