My bad. JD

My bad. When you said the Chase Harper is a PITA, I wondered why? The ST has those metal loops especially for a tank bag on the down tube and behind the top shelter. I can attach mine in a few seconds. I do have to cinch it down tight or it will slip from side to side. FWIW, I made a map pocket holder that fits the same loops. The bottom (next to the tank,) is neoprene, and the material is waterproof nylon with a pocket. There are two strips of velcro that hold the Chase Harper map pocket. I use it when I'm going somewhere I need a map (or have convoluted directions/shopping list on paper,) and don't want to put the tank bag on the bike. -- Turby the Turbosurfer |
