Imagine its January. Imagine winter started in October and won't end
till May. Imagine Hawaii being the closest warm beach, a mere 5.5
hours from Anchorage, Alaska.

Not much need to a bikers packing list though, that's for sure.
1) Sun tan lotion
2) Beach towel
3) X-ray glasses

and a dry suit. Obviously you've never been to the oregon coast in
winter...much less the washington beaches. 8^)

Normally, I'd agree but having tried it I know that discipline, smoothness
and short gas/food stops are no help when sitting at traffic lights or doing
25 mph thru speed trap after speed trap. The South is very different than
Montana.
