It is a fine 9 year old sportbike, very reliable, fast enough, good
brakes a nice Corbin seat.

But I hate it. After 180 only miles today, I was in total agony. I
couldn't wait to get home and take a hot shower and it was 100f today.
The first 70 miles were pure bliss the last 100 just sucked.

Anyway here is a short vid of Wolf Creek Pass, Calgary, Mark, Sleazy
and Chuck have all ridden this road. The battery went dead, so it ends
before the good parts, sorry. I hope it brings back a memory for them.

I did about 260 miles today. No agony, but I kept looking ahead or in my
mirrors and kept seeing that Multistrada S that Bannon was on, and I really
want one. I don't hate my bike, but I sure wish it was a Multistrada S. I
have to work so much harder to go fast than that Duc does. It has a few
more inches of height and sitting up pretty straight you can see much better
through the corners. I can easily carry 15mph more speed into every corner
on that bike. That lazy 150hp twin never feels rushed. I wish I'd never
ridden it now.

trade you for the triple. ;^) then you can surprise him with the wing.
Mind you I haven't switched out the springs for heavier weight
yet...maybe, someday who knows.

Just teasing...I'm never giving up OG. I'll ditch the wife first.

p.s. I'll be watching the mariners v. Sox shortly.

The obvious solution is to choose only ride destinations
that are a maximum of 35 miles away.

Once you've explored all the routes within this radius
of SLC then move on to Plan B:

1. Get a camper van and a bike trailer (or a toy hauler)

2. Stock up the van with creature comforts such as
beer and your wife.

3. Trailer the bike to Moab

4. Ride to Brendel, Cisco or Church Rock

5. Ride back to the van. You've now clocked 70 miles (approx)

6. Lie down and relax, drinking beer and reading
_Iron Butt_ magazine whilst your wife drives home

7. Post a ride report on Reeky

SQ - It's all good.

Remember it well. I've got some vid of the Dragon around here
somewhere... UTube removed it one time because it was over 10 minutes
long. Let me cut it down a bit and repost.
