Not. Completely dead round here and round Carlisle.

2m and 70cm are quite alive and well though.

Very rarely see CB-type home aerials around Carlisle, although I know
the locations of a couple of Ham set-ups. Is CB still active among
lorry drivers? I know it's frowned upon at Eddie Stobart's.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember frag <news4(a)ukrm.co.uk> saying
something like:

Surpried me to hear that. I thought CB was as dead as the dodo. For a
short time, back in the early 1980s, it really did seem to attract an
awful lot of knobheads.

I suppose they all graduated to the interwebthingy.
