We've recently had a new bathroom fitted. Less than five minutes after
the sink with taps hit the skip outside there was a knock at the door
from somebody asking to take the taps. Nice of them to ask, but they
only did it as they saw me watching them through the window. Next lot 15
minutes later just ignored me, sorted through the skip and departed with
the fitters broken tape measure. We live in a cul-de-sac ffs.

<shrug>
It's in the skip. By definition, you no longer want it. Why should you
care if somebody else does want it, for whatever reason? Why not be happy
that there's a bit less going into landfill?
