Ain't that the truth. It was alright when I was in Maidenhead but since moving back in to central London I've given up on Freecycle completely. Last time I tried to give stuff away I gave up in the end and took everything to the nearest charity shop. -- ogden | gsxr1000 | rgv250

I was hoping to Freecycle a big old CRT TV. >Last time I tried to give stuff away I gave up in the end and took >everything to the nearest charity shop. Most charities won't take electrical stuff. Yebbut, as a non-user, you only hear the bad stories, especially on here. I've done <looks> 146 eBay transactions, and only a couple have given me any problems. -- Champ We declare that the splendour of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. I just can't be bothered with the hassle of taking photos, coming up with a description, doing all that other nonsense that's necessary even at the best of times. In other words: meh. Plus I tend to keep my stuff for a long time. It gets obsolete before I think about upgrading. I've still not got a flat screen telly. I did get a TFT monitor, and the old CRT one is going to a mate to pass to some church. |
