No, that's a misrepresentation. As often happens.

WHat I argue against is a paranoid attitude that assumes everyone is
out to rip you off or steal from you, such that you end up not
enjoying the stuff you've got, in case "something happens". A new
garage door won't be anymore troublesome to operate that the old one.
It'll just have a steelframe with a interlocking mechanism.

Mine has one of those. The weakest point is the lock itself. Which is
why I now use an extra padlock (having been burgled last year).
Something like a Garage Door Defender would be worth a punt.

So do you think they should have been executed in public after their 3rd or
4th or 5th offence rather than inflicting the 20th on you?
