Is treating them as sub-human somehow 'pleasant'? FWIW I _still_ think you're winding us up to some extent - you come across as a mostly intelligent person, so I find it hard to accept that you really believe in the things you say. If you do, I really, _really_ hope that some day you have the opportunity to see things from the other side of the bars. How do you feel about gas chambers for mass extermination, BTW? Or would you prefer to just work and starve them to death?

Sure, in parts of the Bay area it's cooler than the surrounding countryside, due to frequent sea mists, but 'cold' it ain't. Four weeks ago they were all claiming that it was unseasonably warm and sunny - the day we went out to Alcatraz was clear and around 19C, IIRC ; last week they were complaining about the bitter winter rains, as it had dropped to around 10C. They just don't know proper weather.
