Hold on a moment. It's likely any child of mine will be ginger, so
they won't have any freinds to put peer pressure on them anyway. :-)

True, very true - I'll have you know I used to be ginger-ish as a kid!

A lasting memory is of me, as a child in short trousers,
being sat on a huge black capstan to pose for a photo - but
a huge black cast-iron capstan, in a mid-August very sunny
day, was akin to a griddle!
