On the way back from fishing, sitting on the high kerb outside the primary
school. We were resting having just made it to the top of Back Road.

Aye, seems a lot of gear that to catch a fish!! but each to their own.
Yes this poles about 4m IIRC and fairly light so should be ok for now

yeah I don't get bite alarms, seems to me it takes some of the skill /
