IMV, the best compromise if you want protection during hot weather is to
wear a wicking layer under leathers or cordura trousers. I use EDZ long
johns under my leathers.

Although, when it is really hot I tend to ride in jeans or combat trousers.
When I was in Croatia, riding along the Adriatic coast I didn't bother with
a jacket.

You are from the camp of "I'm always right. even when I was wrong" aren't
you ?

This was not about *YOU*, even though you wish it was.

It was about Owen asking for advice on jeans. Of which you have no
experience what so ever and can not add anything to his query.

So, please feel free to go and offer your in formation to the thread
about "What should I wear to rice to the office that is not jeans"

If there is not one, please feel free to start one.

Now be a good boy, have an early night, you have school in the morning.

Or googled the last thread about it and read that ?

They are uglier than normal jeans for work use, but Owen is looking
for comfort and protection in warmer climes, so they're probably a
good alternative.

I'd still be wanting to wear leathers myself despite the heat, but
those with a ventilated panel, rather than complete leather.

I have both types, but I feel much more protected at speed in leather,
so always choose this option if there's any motorways on my planned
route..

The Draggin' jeans i've got would be ok around town / A roads etc.

Paul.
