Regarding the frame, consider having it powdercoated. Black
powdercoat/clearpowdercoat gives a creamy sheen and depth similar to
that of real chrome. Except it is very, very black.

Your local powdercoater may have samples. When I had my Pan frame
done, it was about $129. I also had to pay $30 to have the frame
media blasted, before it could be powdercoated.

That's what I took it to mean the first time around.

Well Damn. It's getting to be like old home week here. Nice to hear from
you Putt. Hope things are well with you. I can't help you with paint,
but I'll buy ya a drink.

This is a restoration project for AMCA competition so powder coating
is not an option. If this were to be an everyday rider I would have
subbed out the frame for powder and I'd probably be delivering
the finished product instead of mining the web and VBG for info.

The AMCA web site itself offered up a wealth of information in
areas of assembly and parts identification as well as sources,
but their paint related information was far less than I had hoped
for even from their identified paint sources.

Well, have a virtual drink on me and thanks for your kind input.
