My understanding is that Brewer has the choice of veto-ing the bill,
signing it, or doing nothing at all.

In the latter two cases the bill becomes law.

I don't suppose any of you cheering this on recognize how close passage of
this bill takes us to Nazi and statist random checking of passports and
travel papers. When seatbelt laws were passed, they promised to not use that
as the sole reason for traffic stops. We now have "safety" checks on major
roadways. Those who don't understand history are doomed to repeat it. Jim
Crow laws, selectively enforced, were passed shortly after Abolition to
prevent newly freed Negroes from voting, and to prevent them from arming and
defending themselves. Those laws are still on the books. Only now, they're
enforced on this century's underclass, us, the working people. They frighten
you with drunk drivers and seatbelts, and we now have random safety checks.
They scare you some more with infant gun deaths, and we have
unconstitutional gun controls, never mind that none of the drive by killings
involved legally acquired weapons. They menace you with rampant illegal
immigrant filth, and now you're willing to stand in line to give up more of
you Constitutional rights. You're all blind and stupid, or actively
treasonous. Every man and woman who served in the military and other public
office took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Where are you
now, now that the mental midgets in office conveniently forget that a 51%
majority doesn't override the Constitution? Why are you actively working to
overthrow the freedoms and protections in this country? Do you know who
you're fighting for and why?

You have a social security number and drivers license.
Did you protest?

A national ID card would force illegal aliens out of the job
market so they could take their valuable skills back to
their homelands.
