For the third time of asking in this thread: let's drop it, shall we? I think you are becoming increasingly irrational, and it's the best thing for both of us, and reeky. -- BMW K1100LT Ducati 750SS Honda CB400F Triumph Street Triple Suzuki TS250ER GN250 Damn, back to six bikes! You refused. You have your reasons for refusing and while I don't agree they are valid, it is your choice whether to post the article or not. ===================================================================== The way I read it, when you said "claimed to write", the implication was crystal clear. You implied that TOG didn't actually write it. Why would I think that's what you meant? Easy. You've repeatedly called TOG a liar. Given that, using "claimed to write" instead of simply saying "wrote" is unambiguous. Do I have it wrong? I also think you know this, but I'm going to explicitly say it. TOG makes his living working for a trade paper on a completely different subject, his motorcycle stuff is a sideline. FWIW, I was emailed a copy of a relatively recent article he wrote for Bike magazine from someone on UKRM who scanned it (it was "ogden", not TOG, obviously since he doesn't own the copyright after selling it to Bike). http://groups.google.com/group/uk.rec.motorcycles/msg/a621b625e6642754 I've tried to stay out of your feud with TOG. You're a friend. I respect you. I'm jumping in with my size 13s now because I think you've both taken the personal angle much too far for otherwise decent people. Both of you have said some very inflammatory things to each other. Now it's time for *both* of you to show a little sense and to stop making yourselves look like asses. No one is winning an argument when it's obvious that the exchange has degenerated into 99.9% personal attacks.

I genuinely think you have some mental issues and there just isn't any point in sparring with someone like that, so there we go. It would be nice to think that you'll abandon your promise to keep on 'jabbing' in any thread you choose. -- BMW K1100LT Ducati 750SS Honda CB400F Triumph Street Triple Suzuki TS250ER GN250 Damn, back to six bikes!
