I thought Newhaven might be a bit easier than Dover, but it's a lot of faffing about for a 4hr crossing. I only used as I got a promo bike return for �20. The journey down seemed just as long as the run to Dover due to the lack of Motorways. From: crn on 31 Dec 2009 12:58 Highs: Getting a bloody good price for the LE Velo. Getting the Bantam nicely fettled (see below) Finding someone willing to pay money for the SOJawa. Fooling around on the 400 Four. Pissing off an entire herd of Hardly riders by overtaking the entire bloody rolling roadblock in one move on the shopping trolley.
