I think the XT's engine is supposed to be tougher. Simpler, easier and
cheaper to service, certainly.

There's always the KLE500, if you get that on your side of the water.

Speaking as the owner of two EX500s, and having experienced their ease
of maintenance (I own three EX500 engines), unfortunately not. There
may be a grey import or two floating around.
