I see that I am going to have to take umbrage with you folks' use of
the term "Gold Coast." The Gold Coast is Ghana on the west side of
Africa, not Somalia on the east side.

o "Gold Coast." _Wikipedia_. 7 Nov. 2009. 21 May 2010

.... and it ain't Barbary, either, so there!

So you figure the Saudis have rearrested more or fewer
than they say they have ?

So why did you bring it up ?

Do you think that might be due to the fact that the U.S.
has invaded and destroyed their countries and murdered,
kidnapped, and/or tortured their friends and families
over a pack of blatant lies?

I didn't enter this thread to debate 'why' or the military.
'Why' is endless when discussing a topic concerning literally
millions of people. I come from a strong military family.
As far as I'm aware, they have served their country honorably.
War is hell, bad things happen. Both sides commit atrocities
in any war. That's why it's the *opposite* of peace. It's killing
and maiming and torture. Your picket sign carries little or
no weight in a usenet motorcycle group, just as mine does
over the pirate issue. People have been slamming Bush
and Cheney since they entered office, feel free to continue
the tradition. I'd dare say tho, that overall, the Iraqi people are
glad to have had us there. My opinion is that we've been there
long enough. After this amount of time, they should be able
to carry their own weight.
