I wonder sometimes if I'm old enough to listen to R4. Looking at the list of participants above, I'm glad to remain a R2 devotee as Paul Merton is the only name in there that I would give ear room to. -- SIRPip : B12

I agree, with the addition that Radcliffe and Maconnie's evening show on R2 is jolly good too. -- Champ We declare that the splendour of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A communal licence can be provided by the college only if there is a lounge area with a TV supplied by the college as part of the lease. Students sharing a house need a single licence for the house as long as they have at least one communal room. If the house is separated into individual bedsits then they need separate TV licences. In practice, with private addresses, as long as the house has a TV licence the authorities don't check further, even though the council tax status i.e. exempt would give the situation away. |
