I just found ANOTHER Dnepr with sidecar at a good(?) price.
It's a '79 MT-10/36. If I was crazy enough to buy just one
of these old crocks then starting a fleet is certifiable.
(And yet I have this strange feeling I'm really gonna do it.
And then shove an R1000 motor into the thing. Somebody pls
stop me before I totally lose it.

SQ
ps. Sidecars alone are going for the same price. What's to lose?

"an original Dnepr chassis will fit an BMW engine without
welding however the original russian gearbox must be kept
- BMW gearbox power outtake spins the other way round."

"did you find a clutch plate to fit or did you have to make one ?
- mine's destroyed two home made ones, they lasted about
6000km."

"The russian gearbox, however, is slowly dying from
BMW engine power surplus"

"I was able to go 140 km/h on the highway"

Please keep everybody posted on how this
project goes. Should be interesting. :-)
