Saying ridiculous
things like "California ought to round 'em up and deport them" when
the State of California has no such legal authority is also not
helpful. I agree, our immigration laws should be staunchly applied
and illegal aliens should be removed;

How do you reconcile those two sentences?

Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. is surely spinning in his grave.

Aparently, the legislators in CA choose to tax money away
from the working people. And spend it on Mexicans who
violate the border laws, and are criminally in the country.
As such, I think the legislators are more of a problem than
the Mexicans.

I answered this in private e-mail, so you know the answer.

Sorry, Charlie - not going to get into an endless spitting match with
a Neanderthal bigot. However, you should think about what "American
Dream" means and why it might mean something different to every of the
300,000,000 people in this nation today.
