My newsreader adds those (>) to mosts posts, with
the exception of a few posters.

When I make a reply to most, the demarkations are put in.
That is not true tho, when replying to a post from
Saddlebag and maybe one or two others in here. I believe
the problem is with those who use Google Groups
to post. OE adds the marks to virtually every other
provider.

The problem is OE doesn't properly quote Google Groups posts. It's not GG
fault that OE doesn't work. Many other newsreaders have no problem correctly
quoting GG posts, to suggest it it GG at fault when OE is the only one who
can't quote GG correctly seems a bit illogical.
