agreed...though honestly, I'm more surprised america beat Canada
(ever) than the times they've the Russian's/Soviets. <shrug> I dunno
why, it just surprises me more.

It's not like the old days Keith. All of these guys now play in the
same league, the vast majority of them paid their dues in the Major
Junior A hockey leagues, they all receive the same coaching and
training. They all play the same system. There is very little
difference in the players, the coaching or the system.

And at the end of the day, when your goaltender is your best player
you stand a very good chance of winning.
