Just remember that she's got a machine gun and knows how to use it.

Take it as a pointed reminder that you'd best take the bitte with the
sweet.

Well, let just take it step by step.

1) yup - my 10 years old English sucks. This is not a news. I am totally
aware of it and make any reasonable effort to improve it. Hey, it was
good enough for US Government when I did my Oath of Citizenship.

2) At the same time it let me to work on the very high and professional
level efficiently enough to be fully competitive in the market yet in
fact lead many efforts where native speakers are simply left behind ...

3) Having said that it makes me hardly as you say illiterate which is
very biased interpretation of the actual word definition. I would say I
am linguistically handicapped.

4) The term "illiterate" applies to people who grew up in given
environment and never got an ability to learn how to read and write due
t lack of education. That is all.

Back to your original sentence: "Heh. Baiting you is not "joining
forces", Bob; it's just an enjoyable hobby that Tim and I happen to
share in common. Like motorcycles.". So am I that far off by abstracting
it out to "you enjoy baiting and playing with other people"?

No one can stop you or you alike doing that ... it just does not sound
noble for me ... in fact it sounds very mean. And it could be rooted in
some kind of fear of other people thus I quickly made up term
"humanphobia". At least you guessed it in spite I misspelled it badly ;-).

That is not entirely true. I knew a kid who quit school in the 10th grade
but, despite 10 years, never learned to read.
