It is what it is.

I built it specifically because I had a regular gig as a wandering
minstrel at a large Ren-Faire ( http://www.renfair.com/socal/ ) and
wanted something appropriate to the period.

It also served as a wandering ad for my services in that when
spectators asked "Where did you ever find *THAT*?", I could explain
that prithee I built them, fine Sir -and that I would happily build
more to order.

Sold twelve that way.

Ren fairs are a hoot. I always liked the wenches. :) And the
jugglers and especially the juggling wenches.
