Well, me, for one - at least assuming you mean the A-4 that
would be appropriate in this context. But I'm pretty sure most
Londoners knew it as the "V-2" (Vergeltungswaffe, or "vengeance
weapon", 2). They already had such fond memories of the V-1
"buzz bomb."

Not my fault herr schicklegrubber and the public couldn't get the name
straight... Just like saying it is not a can opener it's a P38. I mean
