Then go right ahead and do everything the *hard way* and cause
yourself
a bunch of problems, so you can stop afterwards and think, "Why did I
put myself through all this grief, if I could have just *bought* what
I really needed for a few hundred, or a few thousand $$$ more?"

It's not like I never tried to build any hybrid cars or motorcycles,
yannow...

But, it's *your* life and who am I to tell you to put on your football
helmet before banging your head against the wall?

What? Don't you think that FI will work on engines that have very low
cranking speeds?

How do FI Harley Big Twins ever start?

You are *amazingly* ignorant. Cranking speeds have nothing to do with
it.

If you've got no electrical power and the starter won't work and you
have to resort to a kickstarter (which was the reason why you made your
asinine remark in the first place), yes, you can spin the engine fast
enough to generate a spark.

However, FI systems have a pump and need to generate fuel pressure for
the FI to work.

How are you going to do that with a kickstarter? Unless you've got a
right leg that would make Lightning Bolt weep in envy.
